This is something I just have to get off my chest.
Over the years, I have heard people say that
"money is the root of evil".
That's a lie
The Word of God tells us...
- For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil,
- for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness,
- and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
- You see the people who love money and material things
- will do almost anything to get it. And they don't care who
- they have to hurt to get it.
- Meaning they will lie, cheat, steal and /or kill to get it...
- And they will never have enough.
God wants us to have nice things. He wants us to be successful.
But He also wants us to have a relationship with Him
If we were to seek after God like we did money- this world would be a better place.
Our seeking would bring forth His favor (even more)
God's favor is worth more than money.
Money can never produce the things that
God's favor can give us.
